Charleston is one of the country’s great wedding cities, and many of its weddings are destination weddings — guests flying in, a long weekend, a ceremony under live oaks or by the water, then a reception downtown or out on the islands. The music has to match that level of care.
Filip plans every Charleston event on a call well ahead of the date: processional and recessional songs arranged as instrumentals, a cocktail hour of jazz and soul standards, dinner ambiance with requests welcome, and live sax over your DJ’s dance set. For larger receptions there is a trio or full band, and for big and destination events a dedicated sound engineer can travel with us. Destination weddings and extended sets are quoted individually, travel included in the proposal.

Questions
Do you work with our DJ?
Yes. I plug into the DJ’s mixer (one free XLR input, plus an aux input for backing tracks) and play live over their set. I ask whether a sound engineer will be on site.
How far do you travel?
Anywhere. Within 60 miles of Charlotte is included; beyond that, travel is quoted. I’ve played in 20+ states, including Alaska.
How do we book?
A short contract and a 50% deposit hold the date. The balance is due before the event day.
